Who runs this website

This website is published and maintained by the operator of this website. We are an independent editorial team; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of the publishers whose titles appear on these pages.

We deliberately keep the site small. There are no user accounts, no forums and no uploads — just a curated list, a short description of each entry, and the information pages you are reading now. If you need to reach us, write to [email protected].

How titles are selected

Entries are chosen by hand. Before a title is added we check that it is currently playable in a standard desktop browser, that it is actively maintained by its publisher, that account registration is straightforward, and that there is a visible community of players around it.

Titles that have been abandoned, that have shut down their servers, or that no longer run without additional software are removed rather than left in place.

What the ordering means

The list is ordered according to our own assessment of how well each title holds up today: how quickly a newcomer can get started, how clearly its systems are explained, how much of it is available without spending money, and how active its player base is.

The order is editorial and subjective. It is not a ranking of quality in any absolute sense, it is not a measure of technical performance, and it is not a recommendation that you should play any particular title. Read the descriptions, follow the links that interest you, and form your own view.

Commercial relationships

Some outbound links on this website carry a referral parameter. Where that is the case, we may receive a commission if you register with a publisher after following one of our links. This costs you nothing and changes nothing about the terms you are offered.

Commission arrangements do not determine which titles are listed or the order they appear in. We use a third-party click-tracking service to attribute those referrals, and an internal analytics system to understand which pages are read. Neither is used to influence the editorial order.

Accuracy and corrections

Publishers change their titles frequently — features are added, systems are reworked and interfaces are redesigned. We check entries periodically, but a description on this page may lag behind the current state of a title. Nothing here should be treated as a guarantee of what you will find after registering.
